- Find out how easy it is to create your World Wide Web presence on the Internet. Basic design, creation, hints, tips and testing of a personal Web Page will be discussed. You should be
familiar with the operation of Web browsers and have surfing experience for an understanding of the good and the bad of the WWW.
- Doing business on the Internet This course discusses the fundamentals of conducting business on the Internet. It reviews the basic tools used for research such as search engines,
communications including email, collaboration using browsers, and Web pages for advertising, recruiting, and customer service. The Internet is changing the way business is being conducted and
is a necessity for certain types of businesses. The attendee should be familiar with Internet Web browsers, email, usenet (newsgroups) and basic research techniques.
- Electronic Commerce on the WWW This course is designed as a follow on for "Doing business on the Internet". It discusses putting your product or service on the cyber marketplace.
The WWW is an excellent vehicle for marketing and advertising to a world wide audience 24 hours a day at very low cost. It can be used for basic advertising , collecting potential customer
data, taking orders, new promotions, and ongoing customer support around the clock.
